THE VISION
Vice Empire is a browser-first seasonal crime empire simulator on Solana. Start from nothing. Pick an identity. Build operations. Watch the heat. Climb the leaderboard. Survive the season. Carry your permanent stake into the next one. The goal is not endless grinding - it is short, dense, high-pressure seasons where decisions actually matter.

THE THREE PILLARS
VICE - the in-season cash. Earned by operations. Resets every 21 days. Your daily fuel.
EMPIRE - the permanent track. Earned only via milestones (season completion, streak rewards, weekly missions, top-rank bonuses). Never resets. The thing you actually take with you.
IDENTITIES - the assets. Paid once. Held forever. Drive playstyle, district access, and synergies.

THE THREE IDENTITIES
Three identities ship at launch. A fourth is locked, earn-only, and unlocks for the few who max all three in the same season.

IDENTITY PRICING
First identity - 0.01 SOL. Symbolic. A bot filter, not a paywall.
Second identity - 0.5 SOL, OR a permanent EMPIRE bid, OR a large in-season VICE bid. Gated by lifetime EMPIRE earned and by Day 10+ of the active season.
Third identity - 1.0 SOL with a higher EMPIRE threshold. Same Day 10+ gate.
Fourth identity - earn-only. Never for sale. Unlocks after maxing the three.
The gate exists to make the second identity feel earned, not bought. We do not want a credit card to fast-forward the season.

THE SEASON - 21 DAYS
Week 1 - Build. Pick an identity. Set up operations. Survive early pressure.
Week 2 - Expand. Unlock stronger operations. Manage rising heat. Begin identity synergies.
Week 3 - Last Stand. Maximum tension. Leaderboard fight. End-season chaos.
At season end: VICE, empire level, operations, workers, district control, heat - all reset. EMPIRE, identities, cosmetics, badges, achievements - kept. New season opens with everyone on the same start line.

HEAT - THE RISK SIDE
Every operation raises heat. High heat triggers raids - a percentage of your VICE balance is lost. You can spend VICE to bribe corrupt cops and pull heat back down, but the cost climbs with your exposure. The Bible defines five tiers, from local beat cop up to federal indictment; we will roll them out across seasons. Heat is what makes the loop tense instead of idle.

DAILY LOOP
Target session: 15–30 minutes.
log in → collect → 3 daily contracts → manage heat → 1 strategic decision → check leaderboard → log out
Streak: complete all 3 contracts for 5 consecutive days to earn a permanent EMPIRE reward.
Empire Hour: a weekly 60-minute window with x2 collect yield. Announced 24h ahead.

EMPIRE TOKENOMICS
The supply ceiling is fixed. Early seasons grant the most EMPIRE - by design, late-comers earn less per season. The split:

Team grants are vested. Liquidity, future-season pools, presale, and reserves take the rest. A potential token launch is targeted for the S4–S5 window - not before - and only if the live game has held a sustained playerbase. EMPIRE staying an internal score is a real possibility. We will not pretend a launch is committed when it is not.

ROADMAP
S1 - Foundation. Three identities, deploy/collect, daily contracts, heat, leaderboard, Empire Hour. Closed alpha.
S2 - Synergies. Featured identity, alliance contracts between identities, weekly missions, battle pass.
S3 - Districts. Four districts including the contested Port District. Territorial control, district-specific operations.
S4–S5 - The Decision. Either EMPIRE remains internal, or a token launch happens with its own terms. Either way, the game keeps running.

WHAT WE WILL NOT DO
No pay-to-win. Money buys access (identities earlier, cosmetics, battle pass) - never raw power or balance shortcuts.
No promises of value. EMPIRE is a score until and unless it is not. We will not bait with price targets.
No silent rebalances of past gains. Once you have EMPIRE on your account, it is yours.
No data sale, no ad trackers, no PII collection beyond what wallets need to operate.

This page is the ledger. The name fits twice - the books of a crime operation, and the chain underneath the game. As the design lands and new systems ship, this document grows. If something here is out of date, that is a bug - let us know.
Vice Empire is a work of fiction inspired by the noir crime genre. Nothing here is investment advice, a securities offer, or a promise of future value.
