What we collect, what we don't, what we do with it.

WHAT WE COLLECT
•
Wallet address. Required. It is your account identifier.
•
Signed login messages. Required. Proves you control the wallet at sign-in.
•
Gameplay state. Your in-season VICE balance, EMPIRE balance, owned identities, deployments, pack purchases, heat, contracts, streak - the things you play with.
•
Operational logs. Method, path, status code, duration, IP, user agent. Used for abuse detection, debugging, and rate-limit enforcement.
•
On-chain transaction hashes you submit to us when paying for identities or packs. We verify these against the Solana network.

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
•
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, real-world address, government ID, or date of birth.
•
We do not custody your private keys, seed phrase, or any signing material. We will never ask for them.
•
We do not deploy third-party advertising trackers, fingerprinting libraries, or session-replay tools.
•
We do not sell, rent, or licence your data to third parties.

WHY WE COLLECT IT
•
To run your account and game state.
•
To verify on-chain payments and prevent double-spend on the game side.
•
To detect abuse, sybil rings, bots, and exploits.
•
To produce aggregate leaderboards, rankings, and season archives.
•
To respond to security incidents and disputes.

WHO TOUCHES YOUR DATA
•
Our backend. Runs on managed infrastructure providers we contract with - for compute, databases, cache, and CDN.
•
The Solana network. When you sign or send transactions, that information is public on-chain. We cannot redact it.
•
Solana RPC providers. We query them to verify your transactions. They see the queries we make.
•
No analytics or ad-network vendors.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
•
Account + gameplay state: as long as your account exists, plus a reasonable archive of past seasons for rankings + history.
•
Operational logs: rolling window for active investigation, then aggregated or pruned. Idempotency records expire after 24 hours.
•
On-chain payment records: kept indefinitely for accounting + dispute defence.

PUBLIC SURFACES
Your wallet address, optional display name, owned identities, and leaderboard ranking are visible to other users. Do not put anything in a display name you do not want public. Wallet activity is also public on-chain - that is a property of Solana, not us.

COOKIES & STORAGE
We use a single authentication token stored locally in your browser to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party cookies. We do not use cross-site tracking.

YOUR RIGHTS
On request, we will tell you what state we hold for your wallet, delete your account where possible, or correct factual errors. On-chain transactions and pseudonymous derived data we cannot rewrite - that is a chain-level constraint. Contact us via the channels on the landing page.

CHILDREN
Vice Empire is 18+. We do not knowingly accept accounts from minors. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will close it.

CHANGES
We will update this notice as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged on the landing page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
